16.01.2022 My boys have never wanted to ride and that was ok with me. I see way to many mothers give up their passion to help (insert do everything for) their children ride. But today Angus (7yo) ridden no more than 10 times ever, competed in his first ever Junior Masters day. To hear him laughing and the incredible smile after successfully completing an event was every part as good as completing it myself. Hang on I did compelete it too- I was the poor mother running beside him, j...umping jumps, catching him when he nearly came off and laughing just as hard with him. He had his first canter today, he cheered on his team mates and won ribbons. He was so lucky to be able to pilot the amazing golden unicorn Caddie, who tolerated up down, up down, bounce, bounce, bounce, up down. Horses are great for the soul, will he want to ride again- who knows but thanks to a wonderful family we’ll always have these memories. Thanks Abbie and Emma. Thanks Nick (Michelle) for being the 3rd member of the team and partaking in sporting for the little kids. Thanks Logan Village Riding and Pony Club, Karen and Claire for running a great day. See more

11.01.2022 Best time with these lovely ladies last weekend. All of us winning our Dressage tests in our respective age groups, successfully completing 4 sporting events without being eliminated, a show jump round or two and a shortened cross country course. We came home with Bronze in the teams and a beautiful pink shovel and runners up in my age group. Thanks so much to these two wonderful ladies who helped me on the Saturday to get back into the ring. I wouldn’t have done it without them! Huge thanks to the organisers- a huge weekend which ran well and was filled with a fun atmosphere. Logan Village Riding and Pony Club
