16.01.2022 While our business has ground to a halt and we are largely confined to barracks here at Werekataba, we've been occupying our time by walking the dogs along our boundary fences, catching up with old friends via phone & social media, enjoying glorious autumn blooms, potting up the bulbs, baking cakes and Elizabeth has just finished knitting a jumper for our youngest granddaughter Sophie.

10.01.2022 Any knitters out there? Elizabeth has just knitted six lined joey pouches for WIRES. Must be 100% wool (available from Spotlight if you have trouble finding it anywhere else).

09.01.2022 Wishing all the fathers a lovely Fathers' Day. Special thoughts for those fathers who are unable to be with their loved ones today.

08.01.2022 Our latest yard projects are now completed, including the rebuilding of "Chateau Chook". Our eight new hens have been named by our grand-children who, despite being aware that the hens are 'girls' have insisted on naming them Rachael, Andrew, Sophie, Flopsy, Mopsy, Peter Rabbit, Rosie and Frank. You can see that we have no gender identity problems in this family.
