18.01.2022 Well done to us! It’s one thing achieving a goal it’s another maintaining it. We have put in the work and kept our status at the top of the Good Sports program. We are an exemplary sporting club in creating healthy attitudes. Our involvement with this program is designed to give our club the best family-friendly environment. One that sets great examples for our members young and old. The Good Sports program is Australia’s largest and longest-running health initiativ...e for community sports. It guides clubs through a process that’s primarily focused on responsible alcohol consumption. Through the program we developed a comprehensive alcohol management policy and continue to role model a healthy lifestyle. This provides opportunities for more club members, spectators and sponsors, along with an improved environment for children and families. Being part of the Good Sports program is a great way to keep our club healthier and to reduce any alcohol-related incidents. The program helps us to: Attract new members Model good behaviour for younger club members Create a safer and inviting club environment Reduce or avoid alcohol-related incidents Be healthier and more connected. Each year we will check in with the Good Sports team, ensuring we have ongoing success and our policies are up to date. 14.01.2022 Time for a game on the Murray. Not a bad deal

14.01.2022 Friday Night Raffles are back at the Racecourse Hotel from Friday at 6pm this week so please let everyone know and support this ongoing fundraiser. God knows we need it after another 5 weeks of lockdown and no income, even playing a game at home on weekend without our supporters. So time to get together and discuss last weeks game and the big game this weekend at East Geelong. Plenty of prizes and we support our major sponsor the Racecourse Hotel and our great club.

12.01.2022 A big thankyou to everyone, our volunteers, players, members and supporters who all ensured we remained COVID compliant on the weekend as we played a home game against Bell Post Hill without many of you who had to stay away. It was a strange day with the club locked up and the GDFL Media van sitting in front of the club where we would normally all stand to watch the footy. Those who were allowed to attend were able to hear quite clearly the players voices which normally we co...uld not do giving us a new experience. To all our volunteers thankyou for doing your jobs in a difficult environment and also to Shane & Chooka for being our Game Day Marshalls for COVID compliance. With having two soccer games and two cricket games being played on Galvin Park also on Saturday it appeared that the carparks and behind the ground were just like any other day but we can advise the club together with Bell Post Hill maintained successfully the strict COVID requirements as best we could on a public reserve with direct public access. Remember we now only have two home games remaining this season due to the COVID lockdowns so please ensure we all get back to the club and support us in those two games as we lead up to a finals series we hope we will play a large part in. 11.01.2022 Just letting all out members and supporters know, that density restrictions don’t allow us to cater for anymore than 30 people in the social rooms at the moment. So the decision has been made that Thursday night meals will NOT go ahead tonight. Hopefully we can restart next week. ... Hope to see you all at East Geelong on Saturday.

07.01.2022 On Thursday Night we completed our final training session for 2020! We ended with our first match simulation in preparation for our upcoming 2021 season! The outcome was fantastic the intensity was much higher then expected for this time of year. With unprecedented numbers on the track and an eager group of new recruits and returning players, we were able to get a good look at our squad for the first time! We can't wait to get back into our #unfinishedbusiness in 2021! We want to wish all of the extended Centrals family a Merry Christmas and safe New Years break!
