03.01.2022 Werribee Cricket Club is saddened to learn that former Captain/Coach Paul Murray has passed away following a long and courageous battle with illness. Paul or Netto as we knew him was the Captain/Coach of our Club for 3 years from 2007/08 to 2009/10 and was 1st XI cap number #187. Netto won a Kirk Norton Medal as the 1st XI Champion Player in 07/08 and 1st XI batting average in 08/09. Netto will be remembered as a Players coach, who provided opportunities to many current and ...past players and his impact is still felt today. Our hearts and thoughts go out to all of Paul’s family and friends at this time. RIP Netto
