25.01.2022 SUMMER WEEKLY COMPETITION RESULTS ROUND 1. It was a sensational start to week one of the weekly summer competition with massive numbers turning out, so many players in fact we ran out of score cards! I have restocked the score cards this afternoon for the start of Round 2 that will be off the back nine.... Thanks to everyone that completed a round last week and we look forward to the competition hotting up over the next 11 weeks. Scoregasmns have kicked out of an early lead with a combined score of 60 to lead Gunna Bees on 56 and The Oracles with 53. The week one top scorer was Kurly Parsons with a solid 18. Kulry scores a restaurant voucher for the win. Week 2 starts Monday (tomorrow) with a new handicap sheet available on the wall near the score box (also in previous post). There has been a big swing in some of the handicaps, mostly upwards for the social golfers, so please check the latest sheet when you start.

And a further quick reminder that registering when entering the venue via QR code’s are now compulsory.... Please ensure you register on entry and if you having difficulty or can’t log, or don’t have the know how please see our friendly staff who will assist to ensure you are registered.

19.01.2022 NEW WEEKLY SUMMER COMPETITION Werris Creek Golf Club will be kicking off a new weekly summer competition commencing first week of January, running for 12 weeks. Long story short is, that it is a team competition where players can play anytime through the week and submit their weekly score towards the overall team score.... The competition is intended around the social aspects of Golf and is open to all playing and social members. There is no team registration fees and only a $5 competition fee per player per round. Maximum team numbers is 15 with a maximum of 8 full playing members per team. See the club or Jason for a Team Registration form. The full rules of the competition are included within the registration form and within this post. This competition is run separate to our regular Mussy Sunday Summer Competition which will continue unaffected.

19.01.2022 Golf’s a washout this morning and the Gap Rd is closed as well. The Travelling Golfers will be moved to 15th November weather permitting. Next week is the Parsons Family 2 person Ambros open to members, visitors and social players.

As always Kim has put on some lunch specials for his big day with $10 lunch specials delivered to the course for the day.

14.01.2022 On Thursday the 29th of October was our windup day. Fun was had by all & it included a yummy meal & a Christmas gift exchange. Looking forward to next season ladies!

13.01.2022 Righto. This is the setup this morning. GOLF IS ON and it’s 2 person Ambros for the Parsons family trophy.... This event is open to everyone. Members visitors and social players. There still is water in the creek and there is only the cart bridge on the first and the crossing in front of the club. If your on foot the bridges are open on the 1st, 4th and 8th so the course is pretty accessible but a couple of longer walks for a couple of holes. Tee off is 10.30am but I do have a request for a earlier tee off if anyone is looking to go early. I hope to see you there. Cheers Jason

The competition will be again running on the 3, 2, 1 format like last year with the overall winner being the highest cumulative score for the year. Tee off from 8am each Sunday and is open to all members, local social players and all visitors. . It is $10 competition fees including breakfast BBQ after.
