25.01.2022 Righto. This is the setup this morning. GOLF IS ON and it’s 2 person Ambros for the Parsons family trophy.... This event is open to everyone. Members visitors and social players. There still is water in the creek and there is only the cart bridge on the first and the crossing in front of the club. If your on foot the bridges are open on the 1st, 4th and 8th so the course is pretty accessible but a couple of longer walks for a couple of holes. Tee off is 10.30am but I do have a request for a earlier tee off if anyone is looking to go early. I hope to see you there. Cheers Jason
25.01.2022 Another big annual Sponsor Day coming up. The Parsons Family 2 Person Ambrose Sunday 1st November 10.30am tee off.... OPEN to ALL PLAYERS. Members, visitors and social players.
25.01.2022 Golfs on again in the morning . The dog leg bridge will be back in commission. Tee of from 10.30am for some Caltex vouchers again.... See you there.
24.01.2022 We're continuing the summer competition post daylight saving at the moment due to current restrictions in place. With smaller groups and separation between the groups we can continue and still get some fresh air and a bit of exercise on a Sunday morning. Due to the restrictions we have smaller groups and spreading tee off times to ensure separation which might lead to some later tee off times. ... I'll be there from about 8am most Sunday mornings through until the last pair gets through. There's no BBQ or presentation after but I'll collate the cards for publication. We had a good field of 10 last Sunday so if you feel like an outing let us know. Obviously if your not feeling well then please do us and yourself a favor and have a week off. AND WE HAVE A NEW LEADER. Darby has hit the lead with another 3 point score albeit whilst Kim hasn't been able to play.
23.01.2022 Week 20 results and James Galbraith has gone back to back over the last 2 weeks to pick up 6 points. Darby came back with 2 points to still lead overall. Next Sunday we'll tee off again at 8.30am.... MEMBERSHIP RENEWALS There has been a few inquiries about annual memberships and while the club has remained shut, many members have missed the opportunity to renew their membership. While the club will remain shut for the immediate term, we will be able to take membership renewal or new application on Sunday morning. The EFTPOS will be running as well for this function and we will be still practicing social separation so it'll be one renewal (or family) at a time. Just see Jason in the morning if you would like to renew or if you come out from around 10.30am we'll be able to help you then. Cheers
23.01.2022 The Parsons Family Trophy is on tomorrow despite the rumours circulating about it being cancelled. Foot bridges are open on the 1st, 4th, 8th. Carts will also be ok.... For all enquires about the weekend competitions please talk to Barb or Jason. (0427500131)

17.01.2022 In terms of the Summer Competition and the current COVID 19 bans at this stage we've got the go ahead from NSW GOLF after discussions with the NSW government to continue our competition provided we meet the current guidelines. We will still be teeing off from 8AM Sunday but there will be stringent controls put in place. The NSW GOLF recommended controls are as follows.... Maximum one person to a cart. Social separation AT ALL TIMES minimum 4 square meters between you and any playing partner. This includes all areas of the course. Maximum 3 to a group. Pin must not the removed (or touched at all). No smoothing on the green (PUTT AS IT LIES) They will be smoothed at start of the day. The holes will be lifted so as the balls are removed without touching the cup. The clubhouse will be opened. 17.01.2022 Geoff Sadler achieved what many golfers can only ever hope for when he aced the 18th hole on his home course for a hole in one in last Sundays regular 18-hole competition. It was Geoff’s first hole in one and the eagle was also enough for him and playing partner Kevin Darby Sherlock to also secure a single point win in the 4-ball best ball competition. Their 41 points knocked off Porter brothers Brian and Vic by a point on 40 in a memorable finish to the afternoon. I usu...ally take an iron on the 18th but stuck with a hybrid and was happy to think I was on the green but Phil Bulmer (playing partner) said I think it’s disappeared in the hole and it did Geoff said when picking up his trophy. Geoff took home a bottle of Johnny Walker as well as scooping the eagle’s nest. The winter competition has continued over the last few weeks with many local businesses still supporting the golf club despite the current tough economic conditions. Local businesses Paterson’s Car Repairs and Werris Creek Pharmacy have both recently sponsored competition days with several other local sponsors also staying on board for the 2020 season with upcoming days. The club has also recently started to trade again Wednesday afternoons from 4pm, Sundays from 12pm as the regular Friday nights from 4pm till late with the kitchen in operation on Friday nights as well. Competition golf is every Sunday from 10.30am, veterans Wednesdays and Ladies Thursdays. The club recently announced full playing memberships are now half price for the remainder of the year, while the course is open to social players all week a $5 a round. See more

12.01.2022 SUMMER COMPETITION CLOSEOUT. We'll be closing out our summer competition today with an awards presentation to the season winners. A big thanks to Tony "Mussy" Musgrave for keeping the competition active over our summer months in trying and difficult times. ...
