23.01.2022 https://youtu.be/0O1u5OEc5eY A beautiful reminder to us and a lovely video to share with the adolescent in your life. Puberty has many affects on the body, but it is the affect on the brain that is the most fascinating and powerful.

22.01.2022 This is a great resource and free Most kids get given these in year 5/6, but without engaging activities to go with it, and the opportunity to ask lots of honest questions, most just look at the pictures (giggle or freak out) and remain mostly clueless. The website is a great start for parents to feel supported on talking about this stuff

22.01.2022 This made me laugh. Sometimes we need to clarify what information children are actually after...and perhaps the precipitating context that led to their question!

20.01.2022 One of my absolute favourite 'laugh out loud' videos! Children learn a lot from not only WHAT we say, but HOW we say it. Your level of discomfort will stick with them forever, and it does shape how willing they are to engage in future conversations about their body and about sex and relationships. Do you need support to tackle this topic with confidence? Let me know.

16.01.2022 When the is no comprehensive or open sex education, young people try to fill in the gaps where they can. In creeps pornography as an education tool...with devastating consequences. Sorry to break it to you, but boys AND girls are accessing it at an alarmingly young age. So please, investigate what your children are learning at school. Find out if they are given access to information without judgement. Request that they are given time with their peers and a supportive and trained adult to learn the tools to safely navigate issues of consent, relationships and sexual health. They need to talk about this stuff!

16.01.2022 We're back! We're back! With restrictions finally lifted and life settling back into a new kind of normal, we are thrilled to be offering services in this area of education again. Make sure to check out the We Should Talk website for more information about workshops and stay tuned as we reveal specific details about workshops that are coming soon.

13.01.2022 So happy that there are finally more resources being created to support teachers in this area!

12.01.2022 Many cultures celebrate fertility and the transition to adulthood for young girls. Most of the girls I speak to are simply mortified by this idea! It gives insight on the messages of shame and taboo young girls have already accepted so early on. Take a look at this hilarious clip on how one mum celebrated her not-so-honest daughter's first period. It can be a great conversation starter on preparing for your period.
