17.01.2022 Meet Casper and Max! The newest editions to the Bethesda Caring Centre. We call them Eden Companions. The Eden philosophy is 'relationship centred care' and in all of our aged care communities we embrace the internationally-recognised The Eden Alternative philosophy of care. This innovative way of thinking about aged care works to promote loving companionship, empowerment and spontaneity and encourages environments that include animals, children and plants.

10.01.2022 John Wesley Gardens has been holding Laughter Yoga classes, giving our residents a double dose of happiness. Australian-based research, undertaken by LaTrobe University, found measurable benefits for blood pressure, pulse and mood, during a pilot study. A 30-minute adapted seated session has physical, psychological and social benefits and we have been holding these fortnightly. ...
