23.01.2022 Due to serious health issues I have been forced to retire from my printing business. The business (Wessex Transfers), printing equipment and trade secrets (pertaining to my specialised printing techniques) has all been sold to Stephen and Andrew Ottaway of Stephen Johnson Models (SJM) and all enquires should now be directed to them. I would like to take the opportunity to thank all my customers and friends who I have got to know over the many years I have been operating my business for their loyalty and for making my job so enjoyable. I loved what I did, and I think, between my father and myself, we have left quite a legacy in the model making world. I wish Stephen and Andrew my very best wishes, and would like thank them for their desire to ensure that the Wessex Transfers name lives on for a few more years yet. Cheers to you all Rob

23.01.2022 Thanks for these photos, Mark. Your model looks absolutely superb. Cheers

22.01.2022 Until further notice, we are no longer accepting any new orders.

19.01.2022 I produced these "Acoustic model 408" waterslide decals for Dave, in the UK to replace the missing one on his vintage amp. Dave said "I’m over the moon with the results. Please feel free to use the pictures"...so I am ;) Thanks Dave.

19.01.2022 All the decals on these models from Dice Mechanic Games, were printed by us last year. Check out Dice Mechanic Games website for more information: https://www.dicemechanicgames.co.uk

13.01.2022 We have started to produce waterslide decals in collaboration with Rocast Models, in Spain. Guillem, owner of Rocast, is an absolute artwork genius, and with his skills we have started to produce world leading model airliner decals, in super fine detail. The Rocast-Digidecal store has just opened, and we are pleased to offer for sale the first of an ever expanding range of waterslide decals. Please check out this website for more details: http://www.rocastmodels.com

11.01.2022 These decals I produced for Mimodels in Canada. Check out their website: https://www.mimodels.com/catalog/index.php

08.01.2022 Just a quick post to inform everyone that Wessex Transfers has been sold, the new owners should have things up and running in a couple of months so keep an eye out on this page for future updates.

06.01.2022 I haven't posted for a while, due to a house/business move, so here's a phew photos of some of the decals I have printed recently. Thanks to my customers (you will know who you are) for sending me the photos. Cheers Rob

05.01.2022 Just an update in regards to whats happening with Wessex Transfers. Unfortunately Rob Horton passed away earlier this month after a brief illness. Our thoughts are with his family and friends. Recently we collected the printer from Tasmania and relocated it onto the mainland, but before we can start printing decals we need the printer serviced. This involves getting a technician up from Sydney but once that is done we can hopefully commence printing. Keep an eye on the Facebook page for further updates.

05.01.2022 These four Hornby O gauge "United Diaries( tankers were given a quick make over by a customer of mine in the UK. Below is his explanation of what they are: "As you can see my subject tankers were rough and mildly damaged donors purchased for the purpose, I did not take apart just bent straight where ever possible and Gorilla glued where tabs were broken. The tanks were to be used at our summer garden tea party in the garden to give the impression they were delivering milk for the afternoon cup of tea . No stripping I used National Benzoyl tankers as they were usually in the worst condition and a rub with the emery cloth was all that was needed. Not a bodge job but certainly not Railway Modelling .
