25.01.2022 The new building L block was opened this morning by Jackie Trad MP for South Brisbane. It involved a huge cake and a giant gold key. The WESS leaders did an amazing job giving a speech in the howling westerly winds and then hosting the morning tea. The building looks amazing and all the new prep families will soon be able to look through the new building in a virtual tour.
24.01.2022 Happy last day of the term

12.01.2022 P&C meeting Tuesday 9th June from 7pm - https://mailchimp.mp/b/pc-meeting-tuesday-9th-june-from-7pm
12.01.2022 This year the P&C has donated over $150k to the school to fund technology, reading resources, the nature play, physical education teaching and other school events. The OSHC/Storage expansion is also in its final stages, reflecting a P&C investment of approx $180k in OSHC services. With our school community growing, the P&C has further exciting plans with your continued support. With the completion of stage 1 the P&C will have an opportunity to grow our OSHC services.... When Stage 2 is given the go ahead, the P&C has the cash allocated to fund a new uniform shop, new tuckshop and P&C facilities for staff and the community to use. When Stage 3 is done, the P&C hopes to raise funds to fix the oval and offer a safe, green space for our kids to play. OSHC is the P&C's main source of income, closely followed by fundraising. Unfortunately restrictions this year have meant less utilisation of OSHC and no FUNdraising events, and the future remains uncertain. To support the P&C and our future plans, here's how you can help: Join the P&C and attend meetings Donate to the School building fund via flexischools (tax deductible) Donate to the School via TOMRA Help us write grants to access additional funds Volunteer your time at the next FUNdraiser - hopefully in term 4 Have your business sponsor the P&C - contact us to find out more Thank you for your ongoing support!

05.01.2022 It is with a sad heart we announce the sudden passing of one of 4101s brightest stars, Thames Delaforce. His tireless support in local community events, the P&C and the WESS fiesta to name a few, made tasks light and fun as this was his nature. He was a generous soul who often would take on the jobs that no one wanted with an easy manner and a bit of rogue spirit. Friends to everyone, our hearts go out to his family at this time he will be dearly missed.
04.01.2022 Storm has passed. Our 3.45 swimming lessons are cancelled but we are going ahead with the 4.15 lessons and the the advanced and squad. See you at the pool
