We can supply any of their lures that you need, just PM us or call Les on 0410 527 444 and we'll look after you... Plugs/Clones/Sea Irons/Skirts - we can work it out for you.... 19.01.2022 Do you know how to tell the difference between male and female blue swimmer crabs? The easiest way to check if a blue swimmer crab is male or female is to turn ...it upside down and look at the V-shaped abdominal flap on its underside. A males flap is narrow and angular, while a females flap is broad and rounded. In Geographe Bay, you can only have a maximum of 5 female blue swimmer crabs as part of your 10 crab daily bag limit from 1 December. If youre unsure of the rules, check out our info sheet on fishing for blue swimmer crabs in the west coast region: https://bit.ly/2NhyQVq

17.01.2022 PLEASE NOTE YOU WONT BE IN TROUBLE IF YOU LET OFF A FLARE WHEN BROKEN DOWN Last night we received information that a 5m vessel with one person on board departed... the marina to pull pots about 1830. By 2100 he was 2 hours overdue and his friends were concerned so a crew was sent at 2115 to look for him. We left the marina and turned on the lights and sirens then looked around in case we could see a flare. With no flare or other signal we started in the area his pots were and conducted a search between MIitchell and Brown and Sunset. A plane was prepared in Perth to assist with the search and the Midwest Ports pilot boat was tasked to assist. About 2300 the pilot boat left the harbour and came across the vessel anchored behind seal rocks. Turned out he had departed from Francis St jetty and broke down. He had seen the lights and heard the siren and waved but in the dark we couldnt see him. He thought he could only let off a flare if he was sinking. Marine Rescue vessel Nashira then towed him back to the ramp safe and sound and other assets were stood down. This was a great example of Marine Rescue, local Police, Water Police and Midwest Ports (and offers from the commercial industry) all coming together at short notice. 10 volunteers were directly involved with only minutes notice. Well done to all and relieved he was ok. Please note you will never be trouble for letting off a flare when you are broken down or in other distress. Safe boating - log on and off CH 82

16.01.2022 Fishing TIP 101 for the Canning/Swan Rivers or other similar places... I see too many people trying to cast out into the middle of the river, unless you are fishing gutters on beaches, cast around structures.... Garrett Road Bridge is a prime example, cast around the pylons, the fish you are targeting will be trying to get the growth off them.... Narrows bridge is the same.... In river systems, you are unlikely to find fish in the middle of the river, they will be in close to the banks around fallen trees or other structures that give them protection and a food source.... On beaches, target reef systems or gutters as this is where the predators hunt! Tight lines, stay safe and have fun

09.01.2022 Hi everyone, We are still open to sell lures and the limited amount of bait that we have left in the bait freezer. Stay safe everyone, let's get through this and live to fish again in a few months. With kindest regards, Les

07.01.2022 How much interest is there in boxes of Lunds Squid at $25 per box? Assuming I can actually get some more stock of course!!

07.01.2022 As a business run out of our garage, if we are home, we are open (within reason). Happy if you want to call Les on 0410 527 444 to double check we are here and have what you are after. We try to keep stocks of the favourite baits such as Mulies, Occy (when available), River Prawns and Squid.... We also have Pre-Mixed Burley and Pollard and Fish Oil to make your own. VERY competitive prices. Need your bait and burley before the other stores open or after they close, give us a call.

05.01.2022 We've suggested this in the past to save money and we all need to save some money. Our trick for making burley using Pollard or Pellets is to go and get 2nd hand cooking oil from your local takeaway store and mix some Tuna or other Fish oil into it in small quantities. Add whatever else you want - a good mate of mine uses tins or bottles of cheap Anchovies....... Any RAC member can go to Campbells Cash and Carry and buy 20 or 25 Litre cans of new Vege or Canola Oil for under $30 a can (from memory). Mix some fish oil into that, add it to your pollard or pellets and you have a pretty $$ competitive Burley Oil mix.

05.01.2022 Grab your lures from us, sign up for the competition and have a great time Salmon Fishing this season... https://recfishwest.org.au/salmon/the-salmon-slam-2020/

02.01.2022 We have just bought the last stock in Australia of the Richter Clone Range and all of their Yellow Plugs and their Diamond Series Plugs as they are being discontinued. Fell free to PM us if you are chasing any particular sizes or colours.... Have too many to list on here

01.01.2022 The annual wild-stock marron season for 2021 will run from noon on 8 January until noon, 5 February. Before you head down to our South West dams and rivers to g...et a feed, you are reminded that you must have a licence to fish for marron, and gear must not be set before the start of the season. The limited four-week season and comprehensive fishing rules make this fishery one of the most carefully managed recreational fisheries in Australia. Bag and size limits apply and fishers need to be aware of legal fishing gear and areas closed to marron fishing. For more information, go to http://www.fish.wa.gov.au//recreational_fishing/licences/r
