This is just a moment in time that makes us all evaluate what’s important in life.. and u all need to know u are ALL IMPORTANT to me..... 10.01.2022 A thought from Sandi today.. I have been reflecting today on the clinic I did on the weekend in Ballarat. It has taken me a few days to get my head around it. I... was fortunate enough to spend the weekend with old friends/clients, new clients and some of my trainers which always fills my heart to be given the opportunity to be on their journey with them. But there were two ladies that really had an impact on me,that I have never met before, and they were both recovering from surgery due to Breast Cancer, one was only a few weeks ago, (full mastectomy). All they wanted was to ride their horses, and to find some peace and joy. I don't believe either of them had any idea of the impact it had on others. I feel it was a true blessing for me to meet them. I have had a lot of friends and clients over the years suffer from this insidious disease and various treatments, all of them proving true bravery and tenacity. I cannot thank all of these ladies enough for allowing me to be a small part of their recovery, and to help them find their smile again. I am forever grateful that i get to help women like this as they truly represent the true meaning of life. I love that it gives me clarity on my own life and what's important to me, firstly my health, family, horses and women. We all need to take lessons from these women and be emotionally brave when we feel weak, walk into the discomfort of life and its challenges, stay connected to our horses, even when our fear is overwhelming. Horses have the power to help heal, and give us true purpose to being connected with them. I wear pink in support of breast cancer and on the weekend at the clinic i have never been prouder to wear it.. ALL BREAST CANCER LOOK OUT !! THESE WOMEN ARE KICKING YOUR ASS TO THE KERB!! See more
