19.01.2022 Peter writes that we should take that fear and cast itthrow itonto our Father God. In fact, he tells us to take all of our anxieties, everything that worries us, and to give it to the God who cares so deeply for us. It's a promise that the mighty God will receive our worries, and care about them. He will carry them for us. He is trustworthy to handle them in the way that is best. Peter's words are a command. It is not God's will for His children to continue to live under t...hose burdens. When it says that he cares, it means he will not stand by and let things develop without his influence. It means he will act. He will work. Casting your worries unto God means trusting him for handling specific situation. If you believe that He cares (which is what the promise says), and believe that He is God, then your fears will be lifted. God wants to be a burden bearer because it demonstrates his power "No one has seen a God besides thee, who works for those who wait for him." So throw the garments of your anxiety onto him. He wants to carry it. #castallyourcaresonhim #1Peter5:7

04.01.2022 'REVIVE YOUR PRAYER LIFE' Reviving your prayer Life will do incredible and powerful things. Prayer is the foundation that strengthens the journey of faith of a believer. When you speak the Name of Jesus, something happens in the spirit realms. Did you know that the enemy trembles when the name of Jesus is on your lips? ... Praying to God is your spiritual weapon that has the power to rebuke the evil, heal the sick, restore the broken, and break strongholds. What is Prayer? Prayer is the communication between you and God. It connects you with your Maker. It is your act of worship through words and from your heart. When we communicate with God, God responds. When God responds, it means He is present, and He reveals His glory and Himself to you, accepting your prayer and your offering of praise. As it says in 2 Chronicles 7:1 When Solomon finished praying, a fire flashed down from heaven and burned up the burnt offerings and sacrifices, and the glorious presence of the Lord filled the temple. Let's be a praying church. Let's be a people favoured by God, with a heart for Him to come and dwell in. As prayer can only strengthen us and help us through every life situation especially in times like these. 'Revive your prayer life'

02.01.2022 Devote yourselves to prayer with an alert mind and a thankful heart. Colossians 4:2 (‘Ia ‘outou finafinau i le tatalo, ‘ia mataala i lea mea ma le fa‘afetai. Kolose 4:2) Prayer means to maintain an unbroken fellowship with our heavenly Father and unless we develop persistence in prayer and devote ourselves to praying, we are in danger of becoming lazy & disinterested. Devotion to prayer is to ensure that every piece of our spiritual armour has been prayerfully strapped on.... In Ephesians, Paul calls us to "Pray always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and stay alert in prayer, with all perseverance and intercession for all the saints." Prayer is not sitting for a few minutes with hands folded and eye shut tight. Prayer is the tool we have been given to prepare us for the work God has called us to do and to ensure that we are well-prepared when faced with a crisis. Prayer is not meant to be saved for a rainy day or only used in an emergency. Prayer is our life-line to the Lord and we should develop an attitude of ceaseless prayer. We need to keep the lines of communication to the heavenly throne-room open and clean, as we walk in spirit and truth and abide in Christ, moment by moment. Prayer should be the in-breathing of our Lord into the inner core of our being and prayer should be the out-breathing of our utter devotion to our Saviour and Lord. Let us remember that when the prayers of the saints are offered to the Lord in steadfast faith, combined with grateful thanks and a trusting heart, we have the authority of heaven, behind all that we carry to the throne of grace - through His nail-pierced feet. #Jeremiah3:33 #bepersistentinprayer
