22.01.2022 Here's a glimmer of good news from the Margaret River region... while we've been bunkering down, the fruit pickers and wine makers have wrapped up a very specia...l vintage. They're humbly counting their blessings and calling it the best in over a decade. Luckily, we enjoyed a warm spring and great summer ripening conditions, bountiful marri blossom to keep the birds at bay, little to no rain and low yields, which makes for seriously delicious fruit - and stonkingly good wine. We can't wait to raise a glass once we're through the difficult times - and share this epic vintage with you. South by South West

06.01.2022 "Margaret River has the most reliable climate of all the major wine regions of Australia. Its latitude and the ever-present maritime influence of the Indian Oce...an combine to give it high winter rainfall and a very even accumulation of heat throughout the growing season." James Halliday, Wine Companion. Did you know that grapevines favour moderate climates, which mostly fall within distinct latitudes of 30 and 50 from the equator? With Margaret River sitting at 3355’S, it's no wonder the region is renowned for producing consistently good crops of grapes every year.

06.01.2022 I hope, one day, we’ll be able to come back to our lives and wine journeys.

The result powerful-yet-elegant wines with complex and concentrated citrus and tropical fruit flavours. The Gin Gin clone is often acknowledged as being the key to the success of our region’s award-winning chardonnay. LEARN MORE ABOUT GIN GIN-> www.margaretriver.wine/chardonnay-clonal-mystery-solved/
