19.01.2022 Dear Customers, We are offering COVID -19 Home Medications service to support and protect the most vulnerable members of our community from potential exposure to the novel coronavirus (COVID_19). This service is FREE OF CHARGE ONCE A MONTH FOR ONE PERSON IN THE HOUSEHOLD ONLY AND FOR WESTBROOK RESIDENTS ONLY. To be eligible for this service, you MUST meet one of the criteria below:... - People who meet the current national triage protocol criteria for suspected COVID-19 infection after consultation with either the national COVID-19 hotline,state COVID-19 hotlines, a registered medical or nursing practitioner or COVID-19 trained health clinic triage staff. - People aged over 70. - Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people aged over 50. - People with chronic health conditions or who are immune-compromised. - Parents with new babies and people who are pregnant. Eligible patients cannot receive more than one delivery per month,so please plan your scripts. Additional delivery will incur a $5 fee. The medication will be left at your front door. Pharmacy will ring you before the drop off, so please attend to your phone. Please note we will not knock door. Payment for medication must be made over the phone prior to delivery. Delivery will happen within 48 hours. We have tried our best to put these measures in place to continue to help out the community during this difficult time. We appreciate your support and we hope you understand for these strict measures we have implemented as well as our hard works at this time. Thank you.

The Australian government has made it easier for you to reach the PBS Safety Net, with less prescriptions required to be filled during the year before they become free or at the concession price. This means that if you usually reach the Safety Net, you may reach it about 2 months earlier than before. If you dont usually reach the Safety Net, you may now be able to. CONCESSION PATIENTS: ... - Previous threshold: 390.00 (equivalent to 60 PBS Prescriptions) - New 2020 threshold: 316.80 (48 PBS Prescriptions) GENERAL PATIENTS: - Previous threshold: 1557.00 - New 2020 threshold: 1486.80 To help ensure you dont miss out, we recommend that you: - Ask your pharmacist to check that you are linked to your partner and any eligible dependent children within the computer system. - Collect your Safety Net Stickers from any other pharmacy that you visit and always bring these in to be added to your file. - Check that your medicines are contributing to your Safety Net. Some medicines require you to wait till 21 days after the last dispensing, or they will not count towards the Safety Net. ** Please speak with one of our friendly staff members if you would like to learn more.

15.01.2022 We have just finished off some works setting up a new layout for our chemist. This is to protect the health and safety of customers and our team members. From now on, only 3 customers are allowed to be in our store at once. The side entry from Westbrook Medical Clinic through to our chemist will be shut down temporarily. This is to ensure we can serve a certain number of customers safely. Please use our main entrance door to enter our pharmacy. Again, this is what we believe... will be best for the health and safety of our community. Please also ensure you make your visit here with us as brief as possible to reduce any potential risks in general. 15.01.2022 Dear customers, the health and wellbeing of our customers and staff is at the forefront of everything we do. With the outbreak of Covid_19, we have made some changes to how to operate to ensure we can continue to provide critical healthcare services to our community. Our pharmacists are always available to provide all the essential healthcare services and advice to customers. Booking for Flu Vaccine is now available in store and stocks will be available end of March. Please ...note this service is available ONLY on MONDAY from 8.15am to 5pm. However, please understand physical contact will be reduced and some non-essential services will be ceased until further notice including ear & nose piercings. Social distancing will be practised in our store as part of recommendations from Queensland Health Officials. We have also removed product testers to adhere to strict hygiene practice in store. Not all samples are available from the suppliers so please ask staff to assist if you need a sample to take home. We have increased the frequency of hand sanitisation and cleaning of all areas in store including high-touch areas like counters, benches, Eftpos machine, chairs, door handles etc... We have also retrained all of our team members on increased hygiene standards. For statutory declarations and certified copies, please note this is a service offering between 1.30pm - 3.30pm from Monday to Friday only. In the interest of community health and safety, we ask you to please bring your own pen in so the pharmacists can help you with these services. We apologise to customers who have experienced difficulty in purchasing Covid_19 related items in our store. We are working tirelessly to maintain these supplies for our store and customers. We may implement the limitation of items purchased in store if necessary due to the increasing change in demand and very limited supplies of stocks. For Post Office services, according to the Australia Post, in regard to parcels and mails collection within store, we no longer request customers to sign on the scanner. However, as required by the policy, we still ask people to present ID and collecting card as usual when coming in to collect parcels/mails. Please make sure you bring these two documents in with you. We apologise for these inconveniences and thank you all very much for your understanding and cooperation.
