15.01.2022 On Friday we had our 2020 Grade 3-6 Swimming Carnival. As is the Westbury way we had many students who had a positive attitude and pushed themselves to achieve some great results. Participation from students was a feature of the day. Well done everyone.

15.01.2022 Day 2 of the Grade 3/4 Girls Basketball today. Our girls worked really hard today but their opposition was much tougher than yesterday. Whilst they didn't get a win they certainly tried hard. Their defence was great but it was nigh imossible to get that ball in the hoop! It's a long way up for little people. Well done girls, you played proudly and always with a smile. Thank you to Whitney for coaching and Kalli and Richard who looked after the scoring etc. Thanks also to the parents who came alomg to support and cheer and especially our little cheer squad complete with pom poms.

11.01.2022 Our Grade 3/4 Girls Basketball team played two games today and finished with a win and a loss. After a nervous start in the first game they settled and played a great defensive game. In their second game they started very positively, continuing their growth as a team. Well done girls on two great games. Tomorrow they have two more games.

10.01.2022 Tonight we enjoyed the sounds of one of our music highlights of the year - the Summer Soiree. Through the generous support of Tasmanian Alkaloids our instrumental music programme continues to give our students opportunity to learn a brass, wind or percussion instrument. Sadly, this was the last soiree for tutor, Jess Borton, as she is moving on after 15 years. Thanks for the wonderful support of our students Jess.

08.01.2022 Swimming Carnival - this Friday!

07.01.2022 Yesterday was the national Walk To School Day. 76 Westbury students along with teachers and parents walked from the Village Green to school. Once at school we were greeted with a wonderful breakfast prepared by our P&F. We had fruit salad, toast and milk drinks. Many thanks to Ashgrove for their support.

04.01.2022 Our annual St Patricks College Band visit was another great success yesterday. Our students had the opportunity to work with more experienced players of the same instrument and play in a bigger band. It was quite a daunting experience for our newer band members who had their first public performance. Thanks to Jess and Fiona for making it all happen.

03.01.2022 This year we have a record number of students representing Northern Midlands in the annual Country Gold carnivals for hockey, soccer, AFL and netball. Our hockey reps had a great day at St Leonards today.
