22.01.2022 Agoonoree is a camp that allows disabled children (called Guests on the camp) experience camping and activities as a scout or guide, and is run in the first week of the spring holidays. Youth members that participate on the camp get a lot out of helping the guests. If youd like to know more, there are members in the Scout, Venturer Scout & Rover Scout sections that have been the last few years and some of our leaders were involved years ago. 12.01.2022 Looking forward to our Annual Report Presentation meeting on Sunday afternoon, and it should be a good way to kickstart the year. The meeting will be followed with BBQ Hamburgers and drinks. We do need as many families to attend as possible, if we dont have above a certain percentage (a quorum), we will have to re-do the meeting again in a few weeks.... Weve had fun with our online Scouting@home (which was a challenge for us, but one we faced together), theres nothing quite like the fun of Scouting face-to-face! While the current restrictions allow our sections to meet at the hall at the same time, there are some reminders for all our families -... * Everyone will be required to wash hands or use the provided hand sanitiser upon arrival to the hall * Please tell your child to remember to bring a water bottle as the water fountain and cups will not be available to use. * Please discuss social distancing with your child - we are still required to practice this until further notice * If your child is not well, please do not send them, as we will be just calling you to take them back home.
