23.01.2022 Probably not our clients finest hour last night after becoming stuck on one of our well known metro swimming beaches. Just because the gate is open and you can..... 23.01.2022 Well we knew it was going to happen. Phone rings 3 hours before we fly out for a recovery south of the river. Knowing we would be pushing for time we made a call to a good mate to see if he could get down there on our behalf.... Never leave anyone behind is our business motto and is for good reason. 22.01.2022 Wasn't long today into the phone started firing into action. Admittedly Shaun wasn't far behind it running out the door with his work boots in his hand . First call was up at wilbinga after a soft section brought a farther and son's fishing trip to a hault rapidly. A nice gentle pull with one of our smaller straps seen them free and on the road again. Second was up in the fantastic area of Sandycape north of jurien bay.... After finding out how soft the beach was yesterday our client looked for a easier way to return to camp resulting in the situation we were called in for. After multiple unsuccessful attempts of recovering the vehicle from various helpers through out the afternoon we were called by a local business to see if we could help this morning after leaving it overnight. I'm glad to say we got them out safely so they could continue there romantic honeymoon abroad . We wish you guys all the best and hope you have many years of happiness to come together. 22.01.2022 Heres a job we got called into on the way down from lanclin. Our customer was not expecting how soft our beaches are at the moment. Unfortunately resulting in the pajero sinking to the chassis and requiring recovering.... All carried out in a super fast response time. WESTCOAST 4X4 RECOVERY 0417090373

22.01.2022 With a few smaller job's through the week it was nice to see a proper 4x4 recovery job Saturday. Unfortunately our client suffered a mechanical mishap that we couldn't rectify track side. 22.01.2022 We had the call we have been waiting for since adding the hiab truck to our menu. A job that required the crane truck. Unfortunately the rider got caught out in a very well known hole out the powerlines today. This hole swallows cars and the worst part is it looks like a normal puddle to its victims.... We recovered the bike and its very wet and cold rider and took them home to fight another day. Unsure if the bike will survive but we do hope so on behalf of us at westcoast. Being able to problem solve along the way on the job is a massive importance in our business especially when it turns south As is being fully insured for off road recovery. Including public liability!... Be sure to ask prior to getting a company to carry out the recovery of your valuable vehicle. 19.01.2022 Here is a urgent call we had late last night to a beach in mandurah. The vehicle become bogged while trying to launch a small boat for a evenings fishing. Due to the urgency we passed on a couple of businesses down that way that we thought would have been interested in the task. Turns out that was not the case and we were called down there to go and retrieve the vehicle. It was certainly a close call.... WESTCOAST 4x4 RECOVERY 0417090373

19.01.2022 So today we had the pleasure of shooting out to mundaring for a job. I couldnt help but notice exhibit-A.... 19.01.2022 Early start today to head down to Harvey for a vehicle in a nasty situation down a very steep slippery hill. The boys walked 4 hours to civilization after it becoming very apparent that they required assistance to recover the vehicle. 70mm+ of rain certainly has not made this hill any friendlier to anyone or any vehicle trying to traverse it.... We went prepared with the mog and patrol in tow just in case things got a little out of hand. Thankfully the patrol sat on the side lines. After some shovel work, a few pulls at different angles to get the vehicle pointing where we needed it and some time she come out safe and sound with out a mark.. WESTCOAST 4X4 RECOVERY 0417090373

18.01.2022 Always prepare for the worst case scenario. This is that exact scenario that we feel we would only deal with in a nightmare. seatbelts off when doing larger bodies of water and always have a plan in place if things are to turn for the worse. This should be done prior to any crossings of big bodies of water

17.01.2022 With the Truck in for some scheduled maintenance overnight it will go with out saying the phone started. Our first call was a local beach close to home. So I jumped in the patrol to go assist a Navara chassis deep. Now you wont hear this very often but I really wished I didnt have the treps on for this job. The tyres were far to aggressive for the fluffy sand we were working on. Whist the snatch freed our client, one hit of the limiter and I was on the chassis. It was rain...ing by this time of course . After some digging I managed to free our patrol and get on our way again. But I now resembled some what of a heavy battered crumbed sausage. Wet and very sandy. I had just got off the beach when the phone rang again. A couple guys had been stuck in baldivis for 6 hours and nothing could get them out. Knowing this was more of a mog job I almost went and got Truck # 2, but decided to take my chance with the Patrol. It was certainly in there. I lost some confidence after hitting it the second time and not breaking the suction. After a couple pulls at a different approach out she come with many cheers and high fives to the delight of our customer. Anyway. I better go finish this truck off WESTCOAST 4x4 RECOVERY 0417090373

15.01.2022 Has been a little while since we have had a beach recovery given most our work has been coming from inland areas. A bit of competition and banter between a few mates resulted in a call to us after a ranger going down to the floor pan. 13.01.2022 Everyone loves a nice roast on there Sunday evening. We love heading out for a good old fashioned recovery our self. I always say rain hail or shine we will be there. I certainly got the rain part correct on this evening. A tricky part of the beach between white hills and Preston caught this patrol owner out in the water line. ... 12.01.2022 Has been a busy month planning the logistical side of transporting our second truck down from darwin. Admittedly this has not ended yet as we have started packing all our equipment to freight up to its location and ready it for its big trip back down to perth. With a couple of detours along the way of course. Massive shout out to Brad at Bishops transport in karratha for grabbing the reigns on my requirements and delivery dates and making it all transition smoothly. Your a S...uper star...... 10.01.2022 Heres a close call Thursday night we were called out on. Whilst most our beaches are starting to see the fresh sand dumped back on them. Guilderton has missed out on that memo for the first leg. When we arrived the larger sets were just starting to wash the sills.... 10.01.2022 From a nice lay in bed straight into the work boots today. This goes to show how much our beaches change over night. Our client drove the exact spot yesterday with ease. This morning it resulted in him being chassis deep.... Always be vigilant of the changing conditions, especially this time of year. Also please be wary of the weather report tomorrow. 10.01.2022 Just as we all thought summer has finally arrived we get this wet and cold weather again . Certainly hasn't stopped people getting out and about or them self in a pickle the last couple days and nights. Last night we had a navara that had slide backwards down a slippery hill coming to rest in a hole off the side of the track. Our client was stoked to see us after spending a fair amount of time trying to self recover in the cold weather.... This morning we had a couple guys that went on a adventure last night in pinjar. This resulted in them becoming bogged, snapping the alternator belts and followed with a flat battery to top the night off. Poor guys spent the night there before calling me in the morning to come sort their not so good adventure out. We recovered the vehicle, changed his belts and jumped started him so they could get home for some much deserved rest. One of the benefits of using our service we will try to fix your car on the spot if u have a mechanical failure. And tonight this colorado had a very lucky escape from becoming artificial reef in the Indian ocean. With it lapping at its tailgate. We also welcomed our new trailer today to assist with getting you guys home from beach/bush to your door with one provider. This summer we will be holding a special. If you choose to use our registered workshop for your repairs and us for your off-road recovery given a mechanical mishap. We will tow the vehicle to our workshop for no extra charge. 09.01.2022 Out of bed early this morning to go and recover a couple vehicles in wilbinga. After a Hilux become bogged they decided to use there phone a friend option. Unfortunately this vehicle had a mechanical issue putting both in a spot of bother. We recovered both vehicles and towed the patrol out of the area. After looking over the patrol we were able to fix it there and then and get it running and driving.... Both vehicles drove home under there own power saving the client a towing charge on top. 08.01.2022 I spose our job does have some perks depending how you look at it. Not knowing where you will be sleeping at any given night . After our client exhausted all local options we were called up to sandy cape last night 2 hours north of Perth for a vehicle bogged on the beach. 08.01.2022 What a night to be had last night. We had a call just after 9pm from a client north of wedge island in a a lot of trouble. 1 car stuck in the rocks with the surf smashing it with 3 busted tyres and 7 hours of self recovery efforts. 2 jetski's lodged in some of the softest beach we have operated on this year and another patrol with only 2wd after smashing its front cv. Needless to say it was a long night.... Nothing came easy and the patrol was well and truley in these rocks. A wheel down in a large hole that seemed the perfect fit and a rear diff on the wrong side of another larger rock. The swell had moved the car very close to the edge which would have resulted in it going over. It took some force to winch it out but at least it come out in one piece. We then dragged it the 2km down the beach where I had brought up some spare wheels for them to change. After multiple trips to recover the skis and all the vehicles and gear. It was time to get out the rain that pleasured us the whole time we were out there. Having walked back in the door at 7am this morning it was time for some sleep as we were All cold and stuffed. 03.01.2022 As if our workshop diary aint bad enough. We have had to start one for the truck. For people that have not had the chance to look over one of our machines there is a couple chances coming up. The 19th we will have a truck at Osbourne park Isuzu for the launch of the new DMAX Ute. They will have a few activities to keep the kiddos busy while you enjoy a free sausage sizzle and have a look around.... Next trip we will have a very freshly built truck at the 4x4 show. This will be our original truck that is about to go in for a full exterior rebuild with a facelift. Will be well worth a look and we will displaying a few jobs that you guys have not seen. 03.01.2022 With a nice log cabin booked out the back of toodjay the weekend just gone we thought it was going to be something far from what it was..... I think our mistake was taking the work truck and shauns ethic to get out there and get the job done if we are called upon. Saturday was no exception with a job out the back of mundaring after a couple had become stuck in a muddy section. After having a chat and a bit of a laugh amongst us off we went all recovered safe and sound.... Our next job was a large horse truck. Admittedly I knew the chances were very slim for us being able to carry out this job due to the sheer weight of it. But as a good supplier of our sign writing we felt the need to at least try. No harm in trying right!!!!! Well as expected we managed to move it a whole half a foot. The call was made to ring Russel from heavy tow to carry out the winching this thing needed. 4 hours later it was free. Not with out some carnage of the winch truck but these things are all part of the job unfortunately. Sunday started down white hills for a vehicle roll over and then up old yanchep road for a 2 vehicle recovery in the mud. 03.01.2022 Hey guys Please take note that we head north tomorrow so we will not be available in the lower reaches of WA for a week unless there is a large job called upon. We will be available in the pilbra region in our newly acquired unimog as we travel back down the coast....
