23.01.2022 RIP KIWI WHITE Port Lincoln surf adventurer Kiwi White has lost his battle fighting mesothelioma. He was our patron of the sea.... It brought him so much joy - whether surfing at his beloved Cactus, spotting tuna from the clouds above, throwing in a line from the bow of his boat or sitting around the campfire after a cold ocean surf, steam rising from his hair. Saltwater was his elixir as he travelled the globe, living the endless summer well into his 70s. He squeezed the most out of life and was devastated to be ill, but grateful to have connected with so many people in his last year from all over the world, with whom he'd left a lasting impression. We will miss his friendship at the ABC. Vale Kiwi White.
