25.01.2022 We’re all heading into uncharted waters at the moment and encouraging people to get together at this time isn’t something we can do with a clear conscience. Everything (including the social ride this weekend) is postponed. We hope you still get out on the bike for some fresh air with those closest to you or a solo ride
25.01.2022 We had a few rain drops in between the sunshine, but that didn’t deter anyone - especially young Michael, who may just be the most enthusiastic mountain biker in Tasmania! It was great to see the falls flowing well and see so many others out on the track. #westcoastmtbtas#westcoasttas

19.01.2022 We are all in uncertain times with regard to COVID-19 and strong measures are being taken on all fronts to ‘flatten the curve’ and minimise the impacts on our society and economy. We all need to exercise some social responsibility and adhere to the advice being offered from medical professionals and those who are calling the shots - social distancing, self isolation, hygiene etc. BUT - if your circumstance allows it, it is as good a time as ever to head out on the trails to... get some fresh air and exercise. Many of the small businesses which service us as riders are heading into tough times also. A lot of interstate travellers have cancelled trips to Tassie and your local bike shop, cafe, or pub needs your patronage more than ever! One last thing - now is a time we should be conscious of riding well within our abilities so as to not risk placing unnecessary pressure on the health system at this uncertain juncture. Happy trails!
19.01.2022 Reminder! Don’t forget about the upcoming school holiday rides in Zeehan! We’re excited to get outside and turn some pedals with everyone. The more the merrier. Please don’t forget to register via the details below

14.01.2022 We are thrilled to announce that Evans IGA have come on board as a major sponsor for our club. Local businesses like these do great work in strengthening and building communities. Their sponsorship will be going straight back into the community and towards growing MTB’ing on the West Coast. Stay tuned! #westcoastmtbtas#supportlocal#westcoasttas Evans IGA Supermarket
13.01.2022 West Coast Council is today launching a Tender process calling for proposals to construct approximately 35 kms of MTB trails on spectacular Mt Owen in Queenstow...n. The hunt is now on to attract the best trail builders in the world to tackle arguably the best location in the world. Further information for contractors is available via Tenderlink at www.tenderlink.com/westcoastcouncil; or by contacting Council’s Coordinator of Projects at [email protected]. Proposals will need to be submitted via Tenderlink no later than 5pm on 2nd of November 2020. 07.01.2022 Stubby holder give away! We're looking for images that capture mountain biking on the West Coast - the good, the epic and everything in between. Send us your photo in a message/post below and a stubby holder might be on it's way to you!
06.01.2022 Out doing a little drainage and tidy up work in preparation for some spring cleaning today. If you’re interested in getting on the end of shovel, saw or pair of shears - get in touch! We don’t think riding uphill has completely gone out of fashion yet, especially when it’s on the historical Sterling Valley trail through West Coast rainforest! #westcoasttas#westcoastmtbtas @ Tullah, Tasmania
06.01.2022 Thank you to everyone who shared their West Coast photos with us - lots of awesome shots! Some photos were a great reminder that there's no such thing as bad weather - just the wrong gear and attitude. It's always a good day to get outside. You never know what you'll see. 04.01.2022 It's been a quiet couple of months around the state, but lots of work has been happening in the background with some awesome projects and great work taking shape locally and around Tasmania. Local club riders Aaron and Liz in front the new Oonah Hill signboard in Zeehan. A great sign of things to come. Thanks to West Coast Council, Heemskirk Motor Hotel, Next Level Mountain Bike, Tasmania Parks and Wildlife Service
