15.01.2022 A good start to our 20/21 Bowls season: Our top side lost by only 2 shots in the first game and the second side won on all rinks. Our Division 1 night Pennant team lost their first game but won their second, both games being played against finalists in the division last season.

14.01.2022 Our second side lost the grand final today to a very strong Flemington and Kensington side.

14.01.2022 West Coburg defeats Princess Park 96-59 and will play either Brunswick or Flemington at Lalor tomorrow in the Grand Final

14.01.2022 Chaos as floods batter Melbourne. From the Club History 1948 to 1975: On Thursday, 17th February the club was honoured by an official RVBA vice president Barry Chadwick. ... This proved to be a memorable day on the green. After the afternoon tea adjournment at approximately 3.40pm the heavens opened and torrential rain flooded Linsey Street and our greens and surrounds and lapped at the entrances of the Pavilion, so great was the deluge that the driveway and the small green were rushing torrents carrying all before them including some of the bowls mats. RVBA Cr. Bob Pollard donned a pair of gum boots he had in his car and walked around No. 1 green salvaging the bowls left on the green. We learnt later that this storm hit the City and Elizabeth Street. The greens were of course unfit for play on the following saturday and home pennant games were transferred to Moreland, Princes Park and Clifton Park. Thank you to Maurice Austin who "inherited" the attached 8mm film, copied it to digital and kindly shared with the club. Thanks also to the families of Brian Wise, Lindsay Wise (no relation to Brian), Ron Sevior and Lloyd Wilkins. If anyone recognises anyone on the video please leave a comment or send us a message. We look forward to hearing from you.

11.01.2022 Grand Finals Updated 4 pm 17/3/2020 In the light of advice from Bowls Australia issued earlier today, the Night Pennant Committee have decided to suspend the competition at this point. ... 06.01.2022 A great turnout for our first game yesterday under "Covid normal" rules.

05.01.2022 Shoutout to Steve Mitchinson, former West Coburg Club Champion and Champion England bowler. You wouldn't recognise our Club now mate: yes, the small green has been taken over by a large shed and our outdoor entertainment area and further renovations are in the pipeline. Hope to see you back in Aussie in the future. Cheers.

04.01.2022 Our top side had two rinks up but lost by only 5 shots in yesterday's game. Our second side had a massive win (140 shots to 50) with all rinks up. Our third side also had a good win.

04.01.2022 How good is our new outdoor entertainment area! Locals are calling in for drinks and bowlers are loving it after a game.

03.01.2022 FOOTY TIPPING. Squizzy is running a Footy Tipping competition. $50 to enter. Pick all winning teams before the season starts. Entries available at the Club and to be in by Thursday 19th March.
