24.01.2022 WestCycle is seeking your input to develop the strategic plan for all forms of bike riding for the next decade. The current strategic framework for cycling - "Our Bike Path" (available on our website) is due for renewal this year and we want to hear your views. We are seeking input from all segments of the riding community from Mums and Dads who ride with the kids to the park, commuters, river loop and trail riders, BMX'ers and all the way through to our competitive and ...elite athletes. Your participation is critical to ensure that the new strategy reflects the needs of the riding community. 23.01.2022 2020 STATE SCHOOLS MTB CHAMPIONSHIPS POSTPONED Statement from Rock and Roll Mountain Biking and WestCycle: With the rapidly changing advice we are hearing about the COVID-19 outbreak we have now had discussions with our event partners and come to the unfortunate and difficult decision to postpone the 2020 WA State School MTB Championships.... We have decided to make this tough decision early knowing how much planning and organisations it takes for schools and parents to travel and attends these types of events. We dont want to be in the position that we are forced to cancel the event at the last minute potentially leaving schools out of pocket with bus bookings and accommodation costs etc. We are hoping to find a new date towards the end of the year depending on the development of the COVID-19 outbreak. Rock and Roll will contact all registered participants directly about refund options. Please stay tuned for new updates on the website and Facebook.

18.01.2022 The Draft Concept Plan for the Manning Park MTB Trail Network is here! The Draft has been several years in the making following consultation with community groups and stakeholders, and is now open for public comment. A Q&A drop-in will be hosted at Manning Park on the 24th of June between 4.30 and 5.30pm. Submissions are due by the 25th of June, so get in quick!... This is a really exciting and much-needed facility for MTB in the Metro area. How exciting that the project could break ground as soon as 2021! We wish to advise that due to extreme fire conditions the Goat Farm Mountain Bike Park will be closed from the end of today (Wednesday 6 January until Monday 11th Jan). The entry gate will be locked and no access is permitted during this time. This applies to walkers, mountain bikers, contractors and any non-essential services.... Park closures are in place at a number of other parks across the state as part of the Department’s risk management and standard operating procedures during extreme conditions.
