Event experience is not ess...ential but individuals must be motivated, reliable, energetic and work well in team environments. 02.01.2022 The Canola Classic is the ultimate Avon Valley adventure! Get ready to enjoy 52km (1 lap) or 93km (2 laps) of quiet roads, rolling hills and fantastic scenery including the iconic canola fields of the greater York Shire. A Distance (93km) can expect to complete approximately 1200m of climbing in total, with B Distance climbing a total of 647m. Most of this elevation can be found in the first 12km of each lap, after which you will be rewarded with a long, flowing descent. The remainder of the course features a series of small rises and descents, before turning left to return back to the start of the course. The City are offering two courses running over a six week period on Saturday mornings - Learn to Ride and Social Riding. Bikes and equipment are provided on the learn to ride course, so any woman can take part....
