24.01.2022 As predicted by most of Australias leading economists, the Reserve Bank of Australia has released their decision this morning to leave the cash rate on hold at 2.0 % for December 2015. The cash rate has now been left at 2.0%, a record low for Australia, since May this year. Interest rates are staying the same!

12.01.2022 Today, we attended to our first Electronic Conveyancing through PEXA! It was booked for 12.00 pm it took 10 minutes to settle, 20 minutes for the funds to be disbursed and 10 minutes later our seller confirmed that funds had been received in his bank account and it was cleared funds! 08.01.2022 NEW BOOST FOR FIRST HOME OWNERS GRANT! First home owners buying a new home/apartment or building a new home may apply for a grant of up to $10,000. Contracts signed between 1 January 2017 and 31 December 2017 may be eligible for an additional boost payment of $5,000. For a contract to build a home, construction must commence within 26 weeks of entering into a building... contract and be completed within 18 months after construction commences. For owner builders, construction must be completed by 30 June 2019. The purchase of a new home off-the-plan will only be eligible if construction is completed by 30 June 2019. As with the existing grant, the boost will be paid for homes up to the value of $750,000 (or up to $1 million if the home is located north of the 26th parallel).
