16.01.2022 The Premier’s announcement this afternoon has advised Stage 3 lockdown restrictions to the Metropolitan Melbourne and Mitchell Shire as of 11:59pm tomorrow night (Wednesday 8 July 2020). The Westerfolds Sports Centre Management Team are preparing communications to provide to all our clients with information regarding the Term 3 2020 swim program. We thank you for your continued support and we will be in contact with you all soon.

09.01.2022 Swimming Families lets get behind our Swimming Industry and sign this petition to get clarity about when Swimming can return in Victoria. Please support our Victorian Swim Coaches, Teachers and Swim Schools by signing this petition to Premier Andrews of Victoria. It seems swimming has been overlooked in the plan to open up. Swimming is not specifically mentioned in Sport & Rec and not in Indoor physical recreation facilities. Outdoor pools open in Step 2 but then there is no mention of pools after that, no mention of indoor pools and no mention of teaching swimming. Send this petition to all your families to sign. This will allow us to open our doors, however with some restrictions in place.... Watch this space while we work through the specifics and stay tuned for an official open date! 03.01.2022 As the COVID-19 situation evolves at a rapid rate, we continue to closely monitor the situation. Our doors remain open to help those keep an active mind and body. The key measure which relates to health, fitness and leisure facilities includes: Settings like gyms, indoor fitness centres and swimming pools are not required to close at this time providing they meet these requirements for social distancing and hand hygiene. Such venues should take actions to ensure regular high standards of environmental cleaning take place.
