25.01.2022 Some friends and I spent a few very hot detecting days at Western Creek during January. What a bonus to have the nice showers available after a hot day at wor...k. Although we lucked out with Gold, Paul and Nina found some nice examples of early Prospectors coins and trinkets. Two old English coins, and a silver proclamation coin together with a silver locket containing a good luck German halfpenny joined to a red and green agate piece. Some amazing history as a side bonus. See more

14.01.2022 Gold recently found at Western Creek There is 12 ounces in total in the picture of gold on the blue plate including a two ounce nugget. On the green plate there is a 11 gram piece.
