25.01.2022 Following the Queensland Government’s decision to initiate a three-day lockdown of the Greater Brisbane area from 6pm today, the Western Mustangs have decided t...o postpone the trial for our Under 16 Boys Cyril Connell Challenge squad scheduled for tomorrow (Saturday 9 January). While Toowoomba where the trial was scheduled to be held and our wider catchment region are outside of the Greater Brisbane lockdown area, those who have spent time in Greater Brisbane on or since Saturday January 2 have also been instructed to isolate. As some people who would attend tomorrow’s scheduled trial could be in that group who have spent time in Greater Brisbane, we have decided to adopt a safety-first approach and postpone the trial. Those who nominated to trial tomorrow will remain nominated for the re-scheduled trial. Details on when the re-scheduled trial will be held will be announced on Mustangs social media channels as soon as finalised. Thank you for your understanding.
