22.01.2022 We would like everyone to welcome the new head coach to the Jags for thr 2016 season, Tino Seiuli. Tino had been involed with gridiron for a number of years and with the successful 2015 season as the assistant coach he has been promoted to the head coach role, with his experience an knowledge he will be able to create a strong sister hood and successful team.

14.01.2022 A catch up today with Sundevil Women's HC, Rob McKinnon and planning is under way for the continued Queensland dominance of Australian gridiron. Gridiron Austra...lia has not yet published any details regard the tournament but we expect it to be roughly the same time frame (April - May) as the previous tournament. We are seeking expressions of interest in assistant coaching positions to work with Coach McKinnon as we chase back to back titles in the WAGL tournament in 2016. 11.01.2022 C A N Y O U H E L P Several horrible, violent, unthinkable things occurred this week in Australia. Sadly, although it may not be visible, it is happening every single day to thousands of women. I'm talking about domestic violence.... Despite being an informed society, the numbers of those affected by this sinister occurrence continue to rise. It's not a problem that's particular to Australia. In this country, one in three women report experiencing sexual, physical, emotional or financial abuse, usually at the hands of a male partner or someone they know. One in three!!! That's a big number to comprehend. The likelihood of a victim being someone you know is hair raisingly scary. It could be someone as close as your neighbour, a work college, a friend, your sister or your daughter. One of the scariest figures in this epidemic is that a massive 82% of cases go unreported. Why? Because it really isn't that easy to take the steps to reach out for help. DV is incredibly isolating and the fear of the repercussions for seeking assistance in a time of serious need, is often the reason people keep quiet. It's time to stop sheltering this subject. It's time to talk. It's time to feel safe. It's time to feel assured that you will be ok. It's time we did something to help. These women need every bit of love and support we can possibly offer.
