19.01.2022 The Western Suburbs Lapidary Club committee have made the decision to start to reopen the clubroom on a roster basis based on the newly lifted restrictions. If you are financial member in 2020 you will have a spot allocated to you and some form of contact has been made to reach you. It’s not ideal but it’s a start on the road back to Business as usual.... Feel free to wear masks if you wish, bring your own cups and anything else you wish for your own protection. The club will be set up to assist us with Social distancing so please be mindful that although the restrictions have starting to be lifted we still want to protect our club members as much as possible at all times. Unfortunately we can not allow anyone into the club during other time slots under any circumstances. The doors will be locked to allow the supervisors the ability adhere to these guidelines. We will have a few teething problems to start so please bear with us as we straighten these out as they arise. There will be some but hopefully the positives of getting back into the club out weight them. Take care everyone and remember it’s not compulsory to come in but you have the choice if you wish. PS Unfortunately until restrictions lift a bit more we are not set up ready for new members, but as soon as we are we will make sure to advise.

15.01.2022 Hello everyone, Some exciting news for our club. Well Done to all those who entered the 2020 Gemboree Competition and a special mention to those who placed. Although the event was cancelled and the doors closed for entries early, anyone already in has been judged and scored, those scores have been counted and the results are in. Western Suburbs Lapidary Club has a very strong team and a truck load of awards are coming our way. As always, high quality pieces have been entered ...and every entry went towards another successful year for us. As pictures and more details come in we will share them. Congratulations See more
