23.01.2022 We recently had our 17th Anniversary Black Tie event and what an amazing night. Great support from the members and community across arts, sports & business with 4 time Olympian basketballer Andrew Vlahov as MC with representatives including the Presidents from Gwellup Croatia Jure Denona, Western Knights Soccer Club Gordana Sliskovic, WA European Business Association Mary Jardine-Clarke and Perth Glory coach Tony Popovic. Life Membership to Brian Rakich, Dennis Yagmich and H...on Ljiljanna Ravlich. Croatian Ambassador to Australia & NZ H.E. Betty Pavelich Sirios was there to present them with the awards. Local Perth Consul Zoran Sangut, his wife Vanja and Consul from Sydney, General Consul Ivica Glasnovic were there also. Earlie...r this year, we planted a little seed and we weren't sure exactly what was going to happen, and now here we are - only a few more days until Lado & Friends - A Celebration of Croatian Music, Dance & Song. This event is the first of its kind, celebrating Croatian folklore with groups from all over Australia. From this first concert we are proud to announce that we have created this national event which will be celebrated each year in a different state. CROATIAN FOLKLORIC ARTS FESTIVAL AUSTRALIA HRVATSKI FOLKLORNI VEZOVI AUSTRALIA We have a little secret to share about who will be hosting the event next year but you will have to come to the concert to find out who it will be.
