25.01.2022 The Western Desert Racers Annual General Meeting will be held Saturday 30th Janruary, 1:00PM, at the Goldfields Motorcycle Club. All office bearer positions will be declared vacant and nominations are now sought.... Members may submit nominations, votes or nominate their proxy. To do so please call or email the club. Guests are welcome to attend and be part of the club and organisational committee, but please note that only current financial members are entitled to vote. The meeting will be followed up with a social BBQ, BYO meat and salad.

To run such a large, succ...essful event for the Kalgoorlie region, requires a lot of work. Our fantastic sponsors and supporters look after our event with goods, services and monetary contributions, however the one thing we are always short on is people power. 11.01.2022 2020 Coral Coast Helicopter Services Kickstarters Gascoyne Dash CANCELLED Following extensive consultation, Gascoyne Off Road Racing Club has made the difficul...t decision to cancel the 2020 Coral Coast Helicopters Kickstarters Gascoyne Dash. With the current advice from the Australian Government and the escalation of the COVID-19 risk, this decision was deemed necessary to protect the health and safety of competitors, crew, officials, volunteers and the wider community. As you know, the Australian Government has determined that all non-essential gatherings of 100 (indoors) & 500 (outdoors) people are banned from 18th March 2020 due to COVID-19 until further notice. We trust you understand and appreciate the complexity of this decision however our duty of care is paramount. Our thanks go out to the hard working group of volunteers who have put in endless hours of their time to get this event up, our sponsors for their support and the competitors who have already entered. We will be offering a full refund to competitors that have already paid their entry fees. We will be making contact with all competitors, sponsors & stakeholders in the coming days and look forward to a bigger and better Dash in 2021. 08.01.2022 What better way to celebrate of the Western Desert Racers than to put on Australia's largest off road racing event for 2020 and a National round, all right here in Western Australia. This isn't the first time our club has succeeded in bringing National level competition to WA, but this year is sure to be the biggest! Keep an eye out for limited edition 30 year merchandise which will be on sale and unprecedented media coverage of this years event.
