A full blood count is one of the most commonly requested tests and checks changes in the number, types and sizes of every major cell in your blood, including: Red blood cells, that move oxygen around the body. White blood cells, that fight infections.... Platelets, that help blood to clot. Haemoglobin, a protein that carries oxygen around the body (found in red blood cells). Your doctor may request a full blood count to screen for, help diagnose, or to monitor a variety of conditions. 03.01.2022 WDP are now accepting NT travellers for COVID collections at our respiratory locations without a referral form. This update is following direction from WA DoH as per below instructions: 1. Anyone who has travelled to WA from Granites Gold Mine and was at the mine between midday 18 June and 25 June 2021 is required to self-quarantine for 14 days and be tested immediately (within 48 hours) and at day 11. 2. Anyone from the Northern Territory who was not at the mine and has arr...ived after 18 June 2021 should be advised to get tested if they develop any symptoms that may be related to COVID-19.
