08.01.2022 Show us how you farm! THE Western District has such a broad catchment, that farming looks different for all. When some communities are needing considerable rain, others are getting bogged in their paddocks. We want to see how you farm. Everyone is a photographer.... We are encouraging our local farming community to take a breath, and appreciate the beauties of farming. Get your phone out, your drone or your camera (if you have one) and show us what’s happening on your farm. Whether your kids are jumping in puddles, you’re in the middle of lambing, or you are in fact, bogged in the paddock we want to see it. Each month we will select one image to be featured in our paper and posted to our Facebook page. Send your submissions in through the Facebook page; www.facebook.com/WesternDistrictFarmer/ or email them to [email protected]. Give us your name, where you’re from and a short description of your image. Happy snapping. THANK you to everyone who send in entries for this month what a response! We’d love to pick you all, but this month’s photo belongs to Byaduk’s Kira Handreck. Kira has 4000 white sheep (ewes and rams) on the farm in Byaduk and was pleasantly surprise to see this black lamb among her ewes. #SnapshotRuralVic
