24.01.2022 CARDIO TENNIS BALL GAME MATERIALS NEEDED Tennis Balls Timer (stop watch)... Bucket (to hold all balls in the middle of area) 4 Mini buckets for each corner of a square, plates, or half cones (something to contain the ball at least). The half cone markers add a little extra challenge to make sure the ball stays on the cone. The player must have a bit more control with each movement! HOW TO SET UP THE TENNIS BALL GAMES You need a large space to start with so this is probably a better out door activity. Set a bucket of 4 tennis balls in the middle of the area and place 4 half cone markers (buckets or plates) around it making a square (one at each corner). I would give at least 2-3 metres from the middle bucket to the corner on each side. HOW TO PLAY THE TENNIS BALL GAME Have the player start in the middle. They must grab a ball from the middle and move to a cone, bend over and place ball on top, stand up and move back to middle bucket. Repeat until all 4 corners are filled and then do it in reverse to clean up! Check your time! Can you beat it? Change each turn by doing different activities to the corners eg, crab walking, bear walking, backwards walking etc.

The deadline to post is midnight Friday 3/4/2020. WHAT YOU WILL NEED: 1 Ping Pong ball, bucket, tape and timer.... Place bucket against a wall then measure a1 metre from bucket and place some tap on floor. Stand in straddle stand facing backwards and bounce ball between legs onto floor before aiming to land in bucket. 05.01.2022 Dear WDYC Members, With all the updates on restrictions placed on the club we thought it would be a good idea to update our members with our plans. Although we are allowed to open today (with the announcement last night) we are staying with our plan of opening on the 15th of June to ensure we have all of the procedures correct prior to members coming back into the venue. We will be opening both Enoggera & Bardon venues on the 15th of June for some class types due to being all...owed 20 people total in either venue. If you are in either of these programs we have already contacted you and have started organising your classes. More information will be coming out this week in regards to this. All other Classes will be back in the gym on the 13th of July (Stage 3 restrictions). We are in the process of organising and planning for this. For Members currently attending Enoggera we will be doing a timetable and sending out all our class and enrolment information later this month in anticipation of the 13th of July return to gym. More updates will come out closer to term dates and we will also send information out via Facebook.
