This peaceful spot is perfect for a relaxing pitstop or if you want to stay a little longer, Waterloo Plains is a donation run campsite with toilets and the magic words - hot showers! ... 17.01.2022 Have you visited the Chinchilla Historical Museum? The museum houses historical buildings and collections from the Chinchilla region including The Green Plague, which tells the story of the prickly pear menace that took over the region, a collection of petrified wood found in the region called 'Chinchilla Red' as well as car and machinery collections including steam engines and vintage cars. On the first Sunday of each month, take a ride on the Mini Rail miniature train ...which takes riders on a tour through the museum grounds. And good news parents - this one isn't just for kids The volunteers also put on a sausage sizzle and drinks making it a fun family day out. The Country Pathfinder Motor Inn in Dalby was recently successful in receiving a grant and is the first motel in the region to offer a Tesla Vehicle Charging Station for visitors use....
