23.01.2022 On a work trip to Bourke recently, I came across what looked like an industrial ghost town. Several roads, about 6 buildings, and a whole lot of imagination about what once was. Found that it was formerly the Bourke Meatworks built back in the 50s. During these times its good to have something to look forward too, and while Western Plains Zoo is closed how good is it to start thinking of friends and family coming back to the west for a visit. Zoofari Lodge looks incredible and the animals keep popping out babies, big and small. This is the latest bilby joey... number 19th born since last year.
