He has had considerable experience in Watershed Restoration in the North West of NSW, working closely with NorthWest LLS and previously Namoi CMA. Currently, Craig is leading the Upper Mooki Rehydration Project on behalf of Upper Mooki Landcare Inc. 16.01.2022 Last Thursday one of our Local Landcare Coordinators ran a seed collecting workshop at Federation Reserve with Christine from Barham Landcare. It was a wonderful morning, with Kinder & Grade 3/4 teaming up to learn all about native seeds and doing a little seed collection excersize. It was great fun, thanks Barham Public School for getting involved! Looking forward to more days like this

16.01.2022 Another inspirational speaker at our forum is Grant Sims, a sixth generation farmer running the family farm with his wife Naomi and 4 children in North Central Victoria. The farm is 8500 acres of dryland and some irrigation. The Sims farm has been utilizing no-till since the early 80's thanks to Grant’s father and uncle. When Grant came back to the farm he started looking at ways to improve the life and function of the soil through biology. In 2008 he stopped using granular s...ynthetic fertilizers and started using a biologically made liquid fertilizer.
