24.01.2022 In the Kangaroo Room this week we are learning all about healthy habits. Things like brushing our teeth, eating healthy foods and exercising. We all had a go at practicing to brush our teeth well.

19.01.2022 In the Kangaroo Room we have been practicing our gross motor control, balance and coordination while using the Dino stilts. The children are feeling a real sense of pride when they are successful and are showing persistence.

14.01.2022 In the Kinder Room we have been making sea habitats. Using salt and water colours we were able to replicate coral and seaweed, then the children added various animals that they drew, cut out and pasted on to complete. They all worked so hard on this project and we saw some really detailed drawings too.

13.01.2022 In the Kinder Room this fortnight, we are focusing on sea life and water safety. The children have particularly enjoyed our little sea life habitat which has lots of animals that live on both water and land.

03.01.2022 With the recent change in restrictions, we still require you to wear a face mask when entering the service. Face masks do not have to be worn outdoors if you can maintain a 1.5 metre distance, but indoors they are still a mandatory requirement . Thank you very much for your understanding and cooperation .

02.01.2022 This week in the Kinder Room we’ve been getting busy with nature! We have been collecting leaves and hole-pinching them to then thread them into string. We’ve also made herb playdough and doing leaf rubbings with crayon. Nature is so full of learning from fine motor control to cognitive learning, it’s endless!

02.01.2022 I know it's quicker if we put on our children's shoes and socks, carry their backpack, or do up their jackets. But it's important that children take their time ...learning these skills independently. In those busy mornings where we're all rushing and feeling flustered, of course help your children out. However, add shoes and socks into your dress up box on quiet days, or practice these skills on a Sunday morning when there is no rush. Yes it's slower for children while they're practicing these skills but the pride on their face when they achieve a new skill is worth the wait.
