25.01.2022 On Saturday the U7 Falcons played the Springfield Strikers. There was tumbling and diving, plenty of cheers and a lot of fun! We had two McDonald's Greater Springfield Players of the Match awards- Summer and Harry who were both on top of their attacking game. Go Falcons!

25.01.2022 On Saturday the U7 Crocodiles played the Ripley Valley Ravens. They played an excellent game in defence and worked very well as a team. They tied the game 1-1 with Maverick scoring the only goal. Maverick was awarded the McDonald's Greater Springfield Player of the Match for his great efforts in attack and defence. Great game Crocodiles!!

25.01.2022 On Saturday the U7 Falcons played the Ripley Valley Rebels. While we didn't win, what we did see this game was awesome sportsmanship from our players- offering to help the other team up after a few tumbles and encouraging their team mates to keep going. Our McDonald's Greater Springfield Player of the Match was awarded to Mason for his brilliant defence. Great work Falcons!

25.01.2022 On Friday night the U11 Mustangs played under lights away against Ipswich city rovers. The final game of the season was a reflection of how the season played out. With plenty of passing, supporting each other and playing as a team. The Mustangs winning 10-0. Goals scored by Bailey 2, Hervey 2, Cooper 2, Dominic 1, William 1, Nathan 1, Daniel 1. I've been honoured to have coached the Team and to see everyone grow into the skilful players you all are. Thank you parents for your support and Malcolm and Dennis for helping me at training and at the games.

22.01.2022 On Saturday the U12 Mustangs played away against Lions FC. The Mustangs passed well and have started to find their voices again calling out and supporting each other. Towards the end we were a little relaxed in defence allowing a couple of goals through but still pulled off a win 5-2 .Goals scored by Cooper 2, Songalo 1, Alfred 1 Lucas 1. 15.01.2022 On Saturday the U11 Mustangs played away against the Ripley Rhino's. We played with 7 players and one borrowed from Ripley. We started of a little flat being that it's the school holidays and finished off at halftime up 3-1. Then we found 2nd gear and charged ahead to win the game 11-1. Great team work again guys. McDonald's Greater Springfield Players of the Match went to Harvey and Will. William scored an awesome goal from way out. 14.01.2022 This week the U11 Mustangs played away against the eagles. The last time we played the eagles the game ended in a 5 all draw. But on Saturday the Mustangs again showed how awesome they all are pulling off a 11 - 2 win. Great goalkeeping by Xavier and Dominic helped prevent further goals from being scored. 13.01.2022 On Saturday the U11 Mustangs played away against Eastern suburbs Celtic. The game started off slowly with a lot of to and fro untill Songalo put one into the net. By halftime the score was 1-0. In the second half the Mustangs rocketed away scoring another 8 goals to win the game 9-0. Although everyone had a turn in different positions, I was really impressed with the great defensive work by Amy Nathan and Lucas. Dominic in goals who didn't let any balls get through and Daniel who helped set up goals. Goals scored by Xavier 2, Ryder 2, Harvey 2, Songalo 1,Bailey 1 William 1, Great work team

13.01.2022 On Saturday the U7 Crocodiles played the Ripley Valley Raptors. They played an amazing game with great passing and defence from all players. Maverick and Joshua were our goal scorers and the Crocodiles came away with the win 7 - 5! Alex received the McDonald's Greater Springfield Player of the Match for doing some great defence and attacking throughout the entire game!! Well done Crocodiles!!

12.01.2022 Our game on Saturday was against Western Pride Toffeemen, the boys and girls played outstanding and deserved to score plenty more but came away with a 2-2 draw. Max scored his 4th goal of the season, putting him in the lead for top goalscorer! McDonald's Greater Springfield Player of the Match goes to Emma for an awesome effort on the field and an amazing performance in goals !

12.01.2022 Rd8 U13 Storm v Logan Village 7-0 Sunday’s game away to Logan Village was very pleasing to watch as a coach. The team played a great game and put into practice all the things we have been working on at training.Together the team showed some good passing ,which allowed us to keep possession and create plenty of chances.The team is also starting to communicate a lot better. Goal scorers were Dylan-4 great work Dylan sitting high on table with top goal scorers, Jonesy-1, Cooper- 1 and Abebwa with his first goal since starting soccer last season! McDonald's Greater Springfield Players of the Match went to Lachlan Waters and Cooper Muldoon with both showing some good support play and passing. Final score 7-0

11.01.2022 The Panthers played against Western Spirit Swish on Saturday with both teams playing well. Goals for the Panthers were scored by Felix, Hoani, Zayne and Ilyas with the final score being 4 - 1. This weeks McDonald's Greater Springfield Player of the Match was awarded to Alex.

10.01.2022 Another exciting win for the U6 Joeys. 6-1 with Jonny, Preston and Ben each scoring 2 points. McDonald's Greater Springfield Player of The Match was Jonny and Nui received his award from last week. Tilly put in some really hard work for her visiting Nanna and AJ had to keep holding the boys back from jump starting! They all just wanted to keep going! The whole team enjoyed themselves, had fun and put in the work and were awarded with the win, and iceblocks!

08.01.2022 U11 Mustangs This Saturday's game was played at home against the Tarragindi Tigers. It was another great game where everyone put in an awesome effort. Great defensive work, passing, unselfishly setting up goals and calling out for the ball helped secure a 9 - 0 win for the Mustangs. Goalkeepers Dominic and Songolo did well preventing any balls getting into the net. McDonald's Greater Springfield Player of the Match went to Ryder for playing an outstanding game. Goals scored by Cooper 3, Songalo 2, Ryder 1, Harvey 1, Daniel 1, Bailey 1. Well done Team!

07.01.2022 Rd 9 U13 Storm vs Wynnum Wolves. It was always going to be a hard game but our team was up for the challenge. Right from the start Storm were on the attack, creating some good chances with Dylan scoring early. Our defence all worked well together and Chaz made some great saves in goals which helped us go into halftime 1-0 up. Wolves came at us in the second half and got the equaliser but Storm never gave up and kept passing the ball around.They had a few chances to go into the lead and possibly take the win but unfortunately Wolves scored a late goal to win 2-1. McDonald's Greater Springfield Players of the Match were Ashlan Booth-McNeill, who made some good tackles and is reading the game better with every game he plays and Chaz Fyfe, who worked hard and made some really good saves and communicated well with the backline.

06.01.2022 Bulls defeated the Eagles 2 - 0 in a blockbuster on Saturday. Some awesome goal keeping from Darnell and Callum proved too much from a relentless Eagles attack. Taran’s great shots on goal put the Bulls 2 in front. Awesome full back work helped to keep the attacks to a minimum in the second half. 03.01.2022 On Saturday the U7 Crocodiles played the Ipswich knights Kings. What a tough game we played but we all played very well on attack and defence with Jack scoring 3 goals, 1 goal to Mav and 2 goals to Joshua. We won 6 to 3. Jack was awarded McDonald's Greater Springfield Player of the Match for such a great game he played all round. Well done Crocodiles!!

The game was that good they drew 3-3 with Mav scoring 2 goals and 1 to Jamie. Jamie did so well in attack when he got the ball he received McDonald's Greater Springfield Player of the Match!! 02.01.2022 The Queensland State League is back this November! Having launched and completed a successful inaugural, we are back for a second season! The Queensland State... League (QSL) is an annual futsal competition contested by all our state representative and academy teams. It is one of the most prestigious club competition in southeast QLD. QSL is open to all State and National Rep Players as well as dedicated Futsal Academies. Games are played weekly for 5 weeks with double headers each match day, after 10 rounds/matches, Finals Series will be hosted. All games will be played at Oxley Futsal centre.
