What they really need from us as adults are role models who show them what to do after we make mistakes, when we fail, when we’...re sad or tired or grumpy. They need to watch and learn from us while we cope with that tricky stuff, so that when challenges come their way, they’ll know how to how to manage them! #talkingfamilies #parenting #qldparents

24.01.2022 Now that the children have had a chance to discover our wonderful new sign, we are now unveiling it to the wider community. Thank you to Callum Grant (group B parent) for our wonderful new sign for our Path of Hidden Treasures. I’m sure everyone agrees the sign is fantastic and we all appreciate his creativity, artistic talent and many hours spent creating the sign along with his wife Mary’s assistance. 16.01.2022 We are so lucky to spend each year with 88 families. Our program is enriched by families sharing their culture, skills, interests and most importantly their children with us.

14.01.2022 Today was the last kindy day for groups A and C. We never really say goodbye to families as we hope to see families come back and visit. We have many families that will return with younger siblings, others that have had many children through and their youngest are finished and then those who attended kindy at Western Suburbs themselves and are back with their own children. Thank you for being an important part of our community and sharing your amazing children with us.
