23.01.2022 Thanks, Mamma Knows West for spreading the word. It certainly is messy and fun! We love your action-filled photos. [Event link https://www.facebook.com/events/579130329310890/ ]

20.01.2022 THROWING OF THE COLOURS Throwing of the colours is the centrepiece of West Footscray Festival of Colours and much-anticipated fun for people of all ages and cultures. This year we are going with the flow and the colour throwing will be in and near Blandford Street right in the middle of Barkly Village - where it invariably ends up each year anyway!... Packets of colour will be available to purchase for $3 for one packet or $10 for three. The colours are made from corn starch and non toxic food dye. They are also scented with sandalwood. The story behind the colours is multi-faceted with each of the colours having their own meaning. For more about the significance of Holi come along to Sandeep's storytimes at 11:30am and 2:30pm in Clarke Street.

06.01.2022 Got that festival feeling? We’re almost ready to party. Barkly Village West Footscray | 11am-4pm Sunday 15 March.

03.01.2022 Only a week to go before it's time to get your skates on. Malt Shop Be Bop Hop Roller Arena will be providing all ages fun with their on street roller rink. They always bring such a great vibe as does the whole festival: community - friends - fun - family. So much to love and enjoy. https://www.facebook.com/events/579130329310890/
