23.01.2022 Saturday training will continue at 11am at Merri Park for the forseeable future. We will advise if any sessions are likely to be cancelled due to inclement weather via SMS by 10am on the day in question. Hopefully we can continue to run some throwing, infielding and hitting either on the diamond or in the cage. We will continue to run sessions providing we have > 8 attendees at each session. Sorry we can't come together as a team to play for Westgarth this season, but let's enjoy getting out in the fresh air and having a run around!

20.01.2022 He's not out 100 but he's out anyway ! Yes after 42 days at St.Vincents' Private Hospital where he was admitted for co-vid Roy is out . Today Roy was farewelled by a committed and loving staff as he moved back to Ruckers' Hill aged care facility. We all know what a great club man he is and are stoked to see him back in circulation. All the best Roy and family from Westgarth BC .

17.01.2022 So it's not over yet . The great story of Roy exiting St.Vincent's after so long continues tonight on Channel 9. Yes Roy is officially a celebrity. So Channel 9 news 6.00pm tonight. Get on to it. All the best again to Roy who never fails to surprise.

11.01.2022 Today is a amazing day in the history of our humble baseball club - Roy Bartlett has notched up 100 trips around the sun. HAPPY 100TH BIRTHDAY ROY!!!! I had the great pleasure of calling Roy just now and passing on birthday wishes on behalf of the club.... 10.01.2022 TRAINING POSTPONED THIS SATURDAY 27 JUNE In light of current increase in local COVID-19 cases we've taken the decision to postpone junior and senior training this Saturday. See you at 11am on Saturday 4 July.

03.01.2022 The Westgarth Baseball Club is sad to learn of the passing of Pat Deeble. On behalf of all players & supporters we send our sincere condolences to Mike, Cameron, Sam and the extended Deeble family.
