18.01.2022 It might not look like much but this suspended slab and beam arrangement turned out to be incredibly complicated in order to minimise slab thicknesses and steel reinforcing to achieve minimal weight on the lower storey walls which in-turn reduced the need to underpin or strengthen existing footings. This project finally left our office today for the hand of our lovely client and architect. 06.01.2022 Heres a lift at one of the Snowy Hydro power stations. The removal of this existing rotor required the refurbishment of existing lifting equipment and re-design of a modified lifting arrangement in order to facilitate the lift without the need for fabricating new parts to replace defective equipment. 106 tonnes of rotor here - makes the yellow yoke (which is about 1.5m long) look tiny.
