25.01.2022 The members and friends of the West Lakes Tennis club are saddened to hear of the passing of Steven Ashley Bland at home on Thursday, 5 March 2020. Steven was a pasted President of our tennis club from 2003 to 2006 and a Board member of Club West Lakes. Steven’s wife Anne Bland and daughter Natalie are regular tennis players with our club for more than 20 years. Our condolences and thoughts are with his wife, Anne and their daughter Natalie. Steven’s contribution to the administration of our tennis club and Club West Lakes will be remembered.

24.01.2022 Ever wanted to try Tennis? West Lakes Tennis Club would like to invite you to come and enjoy a sport tailored for all ages and abilities. A great club with top class facilities for players, friends and families to come and enjoy a hit of tennis and finish of with a meal and/or a drink in our clubhouse. Whether you play at junior, senior, social level, or have not played at all, registrations are now open for our summer season. Registrations close Saturday 7th September. ... 20.01.2022 West Lakes Tennis Club Presentation Night Medals, Medals and more Medals. What a great night to finish of the end of the Winter Tennis Season. Congratulations to all the players who braved the winter season and the parents, grandparents and friends who showed their support by watching some spectacular tennis in very cold and freezing conditions. (thank god for ugg boots and nana rugs). ... Thank you also to all the volunteers, coaching staff and committee members for creating a warm welcoming night and recognising the tremendous efforts of all our players. Looking forward to some warmer weather and the start of a fun and successful Summer Season. 16.01.2022 Wow! what a turn out for the City of Charles Sturt Council - school holiday program at West Lakes Tennis club. 250-kids registered to come out and enjoy in lots of tennis fun and learn new skills. With great weather, sausage sizzle and great friends made, everyone had such great fun. 15.01.2022 City of Charles Sturt School Holiday Program Day: 1 - 29 September, 2020 Wow! what a turn out for the City of Charles Sturt school holiday program at West Lakes Tennis club. Day-1 saw over 50-kids registered to come out and enjoy in some tennis fun and learn new skills. It was predicted to be a very wet day, however we were lucky with our small 2hr window of opportunity for all the kids to enjoy some tennis fun on the courts finishing with a sausage sizzle and great fri...ends made; everyone had such great fun! A big thank you to all the coaches from Western Tennis Academy and the great volunteers who helped out on the day. Looking forward to Day-2, 1 October, 2020 #westerntennisacademy

The Quiz Night was a huge success with over 300 people in attendance and raised $10,500, which will be equally distributed to the CFS Foundation and the Adelaide Koala and Animal Hospital. 11.01.2022 Remembering Dizzey The friends and tennis players at the West Lakes Tennis Club are saddened to hear about the passing of our committee member and friend Di (Dizzey) Litster. Dizzey always was the first to volunteer and work in our kitchen for every tennis function and every tennis tournament. Dizzey served on the committee for the last 2-years and attended our AGM last week and again volunteered to serve on our tennis committee for another 2-years.... We will all miss her bubbly personality and contributions to our tennis club. Dizzey had a very close relationship with her family. The Litster family, the Robinson family and the Bannear family. We will all miss you Dizzey.

09.01.2022 West Lakes Tennis Club is getting very excited as the "Bushfire Appeal Quiz Night" is only a few days away and is totally SOLD OUT!... Also, if you're like me and too lazy to bring a supper then you are in luck. Whisk Catering have put together an amazing menu of meals and platters for you to purchase on the night with part proceeds going towards the Bushfire Appeal. Drinks are also available at the bar. All funds raised will be donated to the CFS Foundation and the Adelaid...e Koala and Wildlife Hospital equally. Don't forget entry fee is $15 per person. 04.01.2022 West Lakes Tennis Club members are saddened on the recent passing of Frank Sharp. Frank was a long term tennis player at our club. We will miss you on our tennis courts. We offer our condolences to Franks family, his wife Jane, his 3 sons, Jamie, Darren, Adam and his extended family.
