20.01.2022 Come along tonight to find out what is happening at the school and get updated on the P&C activities: The graduation committee are busy planning for the Yr6 end of year celebrations. The fundraising committee held another successful Father’s Day Stall The canteen is going from strength to strength Ordering is already underway by the uniform shop for back to school items for 2021

18.01.2022 School Photos 7th & 8th September Dress code for Photo Day: A clean, smart WLPS uniform - navy polo. No house tee shirts. Year 6s should wear their Leavers’ polo. No colourful headbands with flowers or motifs; the simpler the better.... Ribbons for girls are fine if in the school colours of white and blue. Avoid brightly coloured socks. White is preferred. Definitely no leggings. Children will be photographed without jackets. NB: All students will be photographed individually on photo day for school administration records AS WELL as included in their class group photo available for purchase to all families. Should there be any reason why your child should NOT be included in the photo shoot please contact the school office.

17.01.2022 Uniform Shop Orders close today Today is the final day to order uniforms for 2020. Orders must be placed via Quickcliq by 5pm TODAY in order to receive them on Wednesday, 9 December. The Uniform Shop is CLOSED for the last week of term. If you need to make an exchange or obtain a refund, you must also email us by 5pm Monday. Terms and conditions can be found on the school website and in this week’s newsletter.... The Uniform Shop will reopen on Wednesday 3rd February, 2021 (to process orders only. At this stage the uniform shop will remain closed to parents due to Covid restrictions)

04.01.2022 Canteen Update The canteen returned to being open four days a week from week 3 of this term; the first time since week 8 of term 1. The sushi special lunch order day was well received with 161 orders placed. ... The Cheese Burger & Hash Brown Day yesterday was also well received with 155 orders placed. A new volunteer started in the canteen this term. Ann Chen, a parent at the school, has kindly stepped forward to offer her assistance ongoing on an as needs basis; thank you Ann. Currently Tanya and Janette volunteer in excess of 12 hours a week between them; without their support CJ would be run off her feet; thanks ladies. In term 4 a summer menu will be introduced, with some changes to the lunch specials. Tanya (volunteer canteen convener) has been working closely with CJ to ensure that not only are we providing heathier options for our children (with vegetables hidden in every savory item except the cheesies), but there is lower food wastage, and special order items have a shared food cost to increase the viability of the canteen service. Thanks to CJ, Tanya Walker and Janette Roberts for their dedication to making our canteen service a great one.
