14.01.2022 WVMP welcomes our new GP Registrar, Dr Evan Cameron to the team. Previously trained in Biomedical Engineering, Evan completed a graduate medical degree at the University of Sydney in 2014. His resident years were spent in the Hornsby and Northern Beaches area. He then worked for 2 years in Emergency Medicine at Westmead, and 1 year of Addiction Medicine in the Westmead/Blacktown/Mt Druitt region.... The particles are so small they can also penetrate deep into the lungs. Burns: Whatever the depth of a burn, the initial treatment is always the same: remove any clothing or jewellery near the affected area, place the burn under cool running water for at least 20 minutes, seek medical attention for burns that are: large, partial of full thickness, affecting the face or neck crossing a joint, completely encircling a finger, toe or limb.
