21.01.2022 Sent in by Peter: We would like to invite members of the Westleigh Gardens Facebook Community to join us in trying some free Thai food as part of celebrating my wife’s birthday and also the Thai Buddhist Lent. Anchana’s Kitchen is in our 4th year as a registered food business here in Westleigh Gardens and we believe in good karma. We will have some takeaway Thai curry, streamed rice and Thai soup, so please drop in and say hello. We will be set up on our front veranda this Saturday 3rd OCT at 120 Westleigh Drive from 3:30pm onwards until we have nothing left.
21.01.2022 is there an Anthea **** that lives on Lyall drive? We have had the Bunnings delivery van come to our house twice this morning trying to deliver a cubby house. He has our address, but incorrect name. He just left now, time 9.38AM. Might be an idea to give Bunnings a call.

09.01.2022 Sent in by Joe: Hi, I’d like to report some vandalism. Last night, around 10:45pm, a group of between six to eight young men ,entered Westleigh Drive and headed into the estate. They had come from the direction of the new 7/11 service station. One was riding a push bike with a petrol engine, and was riding at speed up and down the footpaths without lights or personal protection. He rode, several times, across the intersection ,at speed , went through red lights in the darkness ,crossing Geelong Road in a highly dangerous manner. As the others turned into Westleigh Drive, one of them snapped off a branch of an ornamental pear tree (pictured). We don’t want, or need this type of behaviour in our little enclave, so please, if you know who it was, give them a piece of your mind

03.01.2022 Get the kids ready playgrounds will begin to reopen from Monday! Hold tight, it might take us a couple of days to get them all open and ready to go. Just a fr...iendly reminder before you head back to your local playground: - Wear a mask or face covering (kids under 12 are exempt) - Maintain at least 1.5 metres from yourself and others at all times - Carry hand sanitiser with you - If you’re unwell, stay at home! While you’re out at your local playground, you might notice the grass is a bit longer than usual. We’re onto it stage four has limited our movements too, so it’s taking a little longer to get it maintained. Stay safe, Wyndham!
