22.01.2022 Last week Westminster Junior Primary School received a generous donation from IMS Consulting. The volume of items was incredible and the variety of goods are unbelievable. Our office was excited to go through the boxes to distribute into classrooms and administration. Classroom supplies benefit our students, especially those who due to financial reasons, are unable to supply themselves. We are very grateful for their support and generosity

11.01.2022 MESSAGE FROM KAPTURE (SCHOOL PHOTOS) We are currently experiencing a delay in our usual turnaround time for the delivery of photographs. This has never been the case at Kapture and is due only to COVID-19 this year. Our normal turnaround time is 3-4 weeks however we are currently operating at approximately 5-6 weeks (not including school holiday periods)... Unfortunately our forced closure and our reduced team upon eventual return has put us behind schedule, however we have new team members on board, all ‘old’ hands are back on deck and we anticipate returning to our regular turnaround time by the end of Term 3.

We also celebrated our Koorlangka Class, a program which promotes leadership for our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students. We would like to acknowledge the leaders of this initative, Mrs Adeline Ryder, Paul Humphries, Denise Yarran and Elishia Green, for their vision and passion of the importance of Aboriginality in our school and community. ... Secondly, we would also like to thank Katelan Stack for giving a speech about Aboriginal culture, success and journey as a young Aboriginal woman since winning Miss NAIDOC 2020. Thirdly, we would like to thank Mitchell Garlett for the acknowledgment to country and performing a smoking ceremony. The Koorlangka Class was funded through the Local School’s Community Fund with the support of City of Stirling and without their support this program would not be possible. Thank You!
