14.01.2022 I found a special place for my mum's cane trunk that she had before I was born 35 years ago, while gathering her belongings, my eyes filled up and my heart burst when I opened her cane trunk to find after all these years; she had kept our baby blankets, school art projects, school photos/report cards, art and crafts we had created her for mother's day, birthday cards and love letters/birthday cards that my Dad had written Mum although they seperated when I was a toddler . 01.01.2022 Sunshine = Sunday sesh...pop down and say hello to the guys at the @royalgeorgehotel (RG), Fortitude Valley!! Before and after. These were a labour of love with oodles of heart and soul however I am adamant to never use recycled cable reel tops again!! Holy bajebbas they were a challenge but super proud they finished up nicely!! These beauties were handcrafted and finished using reclaimed hardwood for the pedestal leg base design, industrial foot gliders and recycled cab...le reel bar tops. Beautifully finished with sandpaper grit breakdown to ensure nice, even surface, half strength black japan feast watson prooftint stain, turquoise, navy blue and grey pop wash and satin 2pac clear coats to finish.
