02.01.2022 NPL2 Youth Trials - thank you for your participation Message: Hi NPL2 Youth players and parents,... Valeri and the coaching team thank you for coming along to the trials over the last few weeks. We are finalising the assessments and will be sending out the information packs to you early next week. The pack will include information about the program for pre-season training and trial matches to commence in the new year. You may not be aware that the team of assessors comprised coaches and players from the first grade and Under 23s team as well as the club’s goalkeeping coach. I wish to thank them for their assistance at the sessions, and I heard many players thanking the coaches after the sessions. Pictured left to right are: Valeri Rojas (trials lead coach), Richard Jalland (goalkeeping coach), Liam McLachlan and Matt Webber (Under 23s players), Mase Tate (U23s coach), Jack Kynaston (club legend), Ned Jeanes (first grade head coach). The other assessors helping at other sessions were Pep Lopera (U23s coach), Ryan Hawkins and Josh Wade (first grade players) and Rodger Maconachie and David Sloan (youth coaches). Kind regards, David Hakaraia WMFC President
